Interesting. I’ve taken Claritin but didn’t know it worked for dogs.

If your dog does in fact have allergies, my vet recommended trying claritin (or the generic loratadine), benadryl or any other histamine blocker. They are very safe for dogs and I have given claritin to my own dog with good results.

I just make sure that I bathe my dogs with flea shampoo twice a week to keep fleas and other parasites away from my dogs. I also try to get my dog to a pet parlor to keep my dogs’ healthy and flea free. I also make sure that my dogs don’t stay too long outside the streets and interact with dogs I know who have fleas.

Thanks for the useful natural remedy for the itching of our pets. I will try using it for my Beauty because she’s having these itch around her legs often.

By no means I will try out harsh chemicals on my dogs. Usually I just use some more natural ways on my dogs to stop its scratching. These are really good tips as well. I will keep it for future use. Thanks so much.
