I believe that taking prescription drugs should be the last resort when fighting an illness of any sort. Natural remedies for many ailments exist and I feel they are more safe and effective.

Yeah, I agree that the rampant use of antibiotics has produced the unwanted side effect of resistant strains. I’ve never had a urinary tract infection before, but I try as much as possible to never use antibiotics. There are such good natural antibiotics out there, even things like Vitamin C, like the above commenter mentioned. People just seem predisposed to run right toward antibiotics.
