Natural Remedies for Enlarged Prostate

Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), commonly known as an enlarged prostate gland is a disorder that eventually effects most men in the United States at some point in their lives.

If you, or someone you care about, are suffering from the pain of an enlarged prostate gland, a number of foods, nutritional supplements, herbal remedies and simple techniques involving aroma therapy and massage can bring quick comfort and relief.

Symptoms of BPH commonly include a frequent urge to urinate. This can become so persistent in the night that it is disruptive to sleep. A burning sensation may accompany urination. There may be some difficulty with bladder control. It can also cause blood in semen, painful erections and pain during ejaculation. BPH is also associated with a sense of a full bladder even immediately after urination.

In place of costly and potentially dangerous pharmaceutical drugs, there are many more sensible and effective alternatives that may be tried to relieve the problem of an enlarged prostate (BPH). The following natural remedies for BPH. Some are intended to treat the enlarged gland itself, while others palliate the symptoms caused by the enlarged gland pressing on the bladder.

This was a great article! Thank you. Most men who suffer from an aging prostate don’t know there are natural remedies that work well, both as proactive means for supporting prostate health as well as alleviating many of the discomforts in urinary flow and functions often associated with an aging prostate. Most of the ingredients that you have mentioned are found in Super Beta Prostate. The main ingredient is beta sitosterol. Other ingredients include Vitamin D, zinc, magnesium, and other vital minerals known to specifically support prostate health. I wish more doctors would start prescribing nutritional supplements for proactive prostate health-care when men reach their 40s! This might just avoid the effects of an aging prostate later on in life!
