Based on my own personal research, I definitely agree with the correlation between fibroids and estrogen dominance. Estrogen dominance has also been linked to endometriosis as well. Therefore, I believe it would be wise that women who suffer with these conditions be tested by their doctors for estrogen dominance.

Gotta agree with Jason here – eat more beans and whole grains. Really healthy foods that can also protect you from cancer and help you with fibroids. Furthermore, I’ve also heard that women should avoid sugar, salt, alcohol, red meat, fried fatty foods and dairy products becayse these promote fibroid growth.

I want to share my story of how I shrunk my fibroids in 3 months naturally and without surgery. The main reason for fibroids growing large is too much estrogen in the body. Estrogen feeds fibroids. Hello all,

I’ve been doing a lot of reading about fibroid treatments. Paula, I am wondering if you are sure that Vitex is good for fibroids? I googled it and read that:

“People with hormone dependent conditions such as endometriosis, uterine fibroids, and cancers of the breast, ovaries, uterus or prostate shouldn’t take vitex”

So now I am confused – does anybody else have an opinion on the usefulness of Vitex for eliminating fibroids?

Fibroids are the most common being tumors in females. Most fibroids do not cause symptoms, and do not require treatment and are typically found during the middle and later reproductive years.
