The pragmatic solution is not to use natural fibres that wont do the job well. Instead choose a carpet that is sturdy and will last a lifetime. Then maintain it carefully. If we all use our carpets for at least 7 years before changing, we will cut carpet disposal by probably over 50%

Carpet make my house more perfect. If I have to pay more to clean it, I don’t mind. It’s for the safety of my children.
