I heard one of the funniest stories about habits at a workshop I attended. It seems there was a married couple and the wife had a habit of cutting the ends off the ham when she baked it. After many years of watching his wife do this, the husband finally asked her why. She didn’t have a good reason except that it was the way her mother had done it.

A panic attack can be a very frightening thing. Some sufferers feel as if they are choking or having a heart attack. But knowing what’s going on can go a long way in helping you cope with such an attack. Sometimes, panic attacks don’t have any apparent cause, or may have specific triggers.
For example, you may experience a panic attack every time you try to get into an elevator or drive under a bridge. The elevator and the bridge are not causing the attacks, but something about your perception of them is. There is an underlying anxiety or fear that needs to be addressed.
I’m a big Buffy the Vampire Slayer fan. One of my favorite characters was Anya Christina Emanuella Jenkins who was a
vengeance justice demon. As the patron saint of scorned women, Anya made a a living by exacting vengeance on their behalf. I was impressed by her abilities.
