How To Remember Your Dreams

When I was a child I had vivid dreams every night. The next morning I would tell my mother all about it over breakfast and she would tell me what the dream meant. As an adult, I stopped remembering my dreams. I know I had them still because I would wake up in an emotional state but not remember the dream. On the rare occasions when I did remember, I’d go to the bathroom and by the time I got back in bed the memory was gone. Secretly, I thought there was something wrong with me. How can you not remember your dreams?

A panic attack can be a very frightening thing. Some sufferers feel as if they are choking or having a heart attack. But knowing what’s going on can go a long way in helping you cope with such an attack. Sometimes, panic attacks don’t have any apparent cause, or may have specific triggers.

For example, you may experience a panic attack every time you try to get into an elevator or drive under a bridge. The elevator and the bridge are not causing the attacks, but something about your perception of them is. There is an underlying anxiety or fear that needs to be addressed.
